Grand Canyon University is closely monitoring COVID-19 guidelines through the CDC and our city and state authorities. The health and wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff and guests is our top priority.

In response, GCU has decided to hold a virtual Commencement celebration, instead of an in-person ceremony, on Saturday, Oct. 17 for online and cohort graduates of the spring and fall of 2020. For those of you who still wish to participate in an in-person ceremony and on-campus celebration, we will have more details soon about those opportunities in the Spring of 2021.

We appreciate you and your families and we are so proud of all of our Grand Canyon University graduates! We will honor you and your amazing accomplishments no matter how we all celebrate together.

Invitations to register for the online and cohort student virtual commencement ceremony were emailed directly from GCU on July 10 to graduate candidates' email address on file. Graduate candidates who have not received their email invitation by the end of July should check their spam and junk folders or contact their student services counselor.

For questions regarding registration status or if a confirmation email was not received, please email the commencement office at [email protected].
