Let the Celebration Commence!

Spring Commencement 2024 is approaching, and we want you to be part of this fun and exciting time! We need staff who want to be part of our students’ final experience here at GCU. Help make this a memorable time for our students and show our support for them and their accomplishments!

Commencement staff hours will vary depending on the shift. Meals and/or snacks will be provided. There will be downtime during the shift.

As commencement staff for the ceremonies, you must seek prior approval from your manager to assist. Permission will be granted based on workload and performance considerations. If approved to assist, hourly employees will be paid for staff hours that occur during their normal work schedule. Please note, you will not be paid outside your normal work hours since attendance is not mandatory.

You make a difference for our students, and it is our time to celebrate their huge accomplishment with them! We appreciate your willingness to be involved.

Staff participants will include employees from both GCE and GCU. GCE employees are able to volunteer and participate in campus activities when volunteer services are requested for any GCU events pertaining to GCU students. GCE employees provide services to our students and their involvement in events for GCU students, such as commencement, is greatly appreciated!
